Deborah Oatts “Roasted” at the 2014 Celebrity Barbecue and Grille

Debbie Oatts was selected to be one of the 2014 “roastees” for the Indianapolis Chapter of The Links “Celebrity Barbecue and Grille.” Along with ex-Colts player and IMPACT Foundation leader Gary Brackett; Indiana Congresswoman Susan Brooks; and AT&T External & Corporate Affairs Director David Lewis, Sr; Debbie was roasted at the 31st annual fundraiser for The Links on April 24, 2014, with funds benefiting The Martin Center, Inc. and its Sickle Cell Initiative.

As a national volunteer service organization of extraordinary women, The Links is dedicated to enriching, sustaining and ensuring the identities, culture and economic survival of African-Americans and other persons of African ancestry. Since its inception in 1946, The Links has grown to 270 chapters and a membership of 12,000 professional women of color.
